At First Christian, there's a group for everyone. Let us help you find yours!

One of our core values at First Christian is that no matter what season or stage you're in, everyone needs someone! We want you to find community, connect relationally, and grow spiritually, so we created life groups, gatherings, and classes that meet regularly where you can get connected with your church family.

A Life Group is a smaller group of 6-14 people that meets weekly or biweekly throughout the year. The main purpose is to do life together. In a group like this, there is a 50% focus on relational connection and "doing life together" and a 50% focus on studying the bible and prayer. Often they meet in a home or in a space at the church. These groups are involved in other aspects of life together outside of the group meeting. Currently there are life groups for couples, men, and women.

A Gathering is a regular meeting of a larger group of people, who often break into smaller groups at the meeting. The main purpose is to be a subcommunity for connecting, growing, and inviting others. There is bible study and time for connection together. Some are continuous, others meet for a term and then break. There is an open invitation to invite others. Currently, there are Gatherings for Young Adults, Men, Seniors, and Moms.

A Class is a meeting of a group of people whose primary purpose is to tackle a study of God’s word or relevant topic. The main purpose is to learn together. Some classes are ongoing, meaning they meet at the same time and place, starting brand new topics throughout the year. Others are short-term classes focusing on a specific topic like marriage or a book of the bible; once the material is completed, the class ends.
