Everyone Needs Someone.

One of our core values at First Christian is that no matter what season or stage you're in, everyone needs someone! We want you to find community, connect relationally, and grow spiritually, so we created many types of groups, gatherings, and classes that meet regularly where you can get connected with your church family.

A life group is a smaller group (6 to 14 people) that meets regularly in homes, around the community, or here at church. They meet for a season and focus on building relationships, studying the Bible, praying together, sharing meals, serving, and doing life side by side. They typically meet for 1.5-2 hours, with 50% of the time for connection and the other 50% to study and pray. Browse available groups for men, women, and couples meeting various days and times, below.

A Gathering is a larger-group format meeting built around a stage of life, gender, or a specific topic. You can expect casual connection time, teaching in a large group, and then discussion in smaller groups. Typically, gatherings will meet for a season, and are always open invitation. We offer various gatherings for men, women, seniors, young adults, and moms--browse times and dates to find the group that's right for you.

Classes are more structured around a Bible study topic with others. They start and stop with specific studies. 90% of the time together will be dedicated to learning and discussing, usually within a designed course of material, led by a teacher facilitator.

Whatever your struggle, you don't have to go through it alone. We have several groups that meet weekly at the church using national programming to support and connect with others in similar circumstances.

Young Adults group provides a specific place for high school graduates (ages 18–24) to grow in community, deepen their faith, and be challenged to live it out boldly. It meets weekly on Thursday nights at 6:30PM at Frank and Kelly Woods’ house.
