Small Group Leaders

We have a great group of volunteers that volunteer with the desire to help students take steps in their faith. We have a great crew of sponsors for our Sunday morning programming at 10:45am and Wednesday night programming at 6:30pm.

Studies have shown the more caring adults in the lives of teens the more likely they will have a growing faith upon entering adulthood.

We encourage you to have your teen involved with Sunday morning and Wednesday nights to have that connection with a caring adult.

We also encourage you to connect with these small group leaders.

Core 52 - Book

Core 52 is described as a fifteen minute daily guide to build your Bible IQ in a year.
Each week features a brief essay, memory verse, Bible story, trajectory verses, and practical ways to put what you’ve learned into practice. An optional “Overachiever Challenge” offers the chance to memorize the top 100 Bible verses by year’s end.

This simple approach allows you to become familiar with the big ideas of the Bible in less time and with less effort than other reading plans. In one year, you can master the core of the Bible—focusing on topics from God’s will to worry, happiness to holiness, and leadership to love. These fifty-two core passages are lenses through which you can read the rest of the Bible with clarity and confidence.
Foundations is a helpful tool to help teen study through the Bible.

With Foundations: A 260-Day Bible Reading Plan for Busy Teens, students can read through all 66 books of the Bible in one year, while still having the flexibility of reading 5 days per week. Along with supplementary devotional content each day, they can experience the miracle of reading and responding to the entirety of God’s Word. By using the H.E.A.R. journaling method, students will be guided through Highlighting, Explaining, Applying, and Responding to passages, allowing for practical application throughout the year-long plan.
This website is a great resource to help teens better understand the Bible. This website has videos for every section and book of the Bible to give you a brief overview of them. These videos help teens better understand God's word.

The Bible Explained - Reading Plan

The Bible is one of the most influential books of all time, but it can seem overwhelming to know how to understand it and what to do with it. This 7-day Bible study will help break down what the Bible is, why it matters, and how you can understand it today. Teens will also discover how you can put God’s Word in action in His world.
How to Start Reading the Bible is a reading plan that will help teens see where to start when it comes to reading God's word. This is an excellent 4 day reading plan.

The "Real Jesus" is a book written by Jen Bradbury. This would be a great book to read along with your teen in helping them better discover who Jesus is. It is broken up into 50 short chapters.

These 50 devotional readings will bring the reality of Jesus to life for the teens in your life, helping them answer the same question he asked his friend, Peter: “Who do you say that I am?” The readings can be digested daily, studied by section, or powered through in just a few sittings. Each reading also contains quotes from real-life teenagers and questions to guide the reader into deeper personal reflection.
