6th Grade Take Over!!
Hey Parents!
Your 6th grader is going to be a middle school student in about a month! I am sure you are feeling excited, nervous, and many other emotions for your child.
Our student ministry, Connexus Student Ministry is excited for your child to move up to Middle School Big Group on June 2. But before that, we have an awesome opportunity for them to check out Big Group before they officially join the middle school ministry.
On May 5 we are doing a 6th grade take over of middle school Big Group. On May 5th, during our 10:45 service, your 6th grader will get to come to middle school Big Group. This will allow them to see how Big Group is run, meet their future small group leaders, and get to participate in our programming.
Here are the logistics.
You will check your child in normally at the children's check-in area and they will head down stairs to their pre-teen classroom. Adult volunteers will bring the 6th graders over to the student center for middle school Big Group. Toward the end of programming the 6th graders will head back to the pre-teen room downstairs and you will pick them up just like you normally do each week.
We are so excited for your child to join us on May 5 at 10:45 for 6th grade takeover. Please let me know if you have any questions.
