Our Staff

Dave has been the preacher at FCC of Washington since June of 1994. He graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO in 1983. Dave and his wife, Velva, met and were married at Ozark in 1981. They have three daughters (Anna Belle, Heather, and Abby) and one son (Joel) ranging in age from graduate school to grade school. Dave and Velva enjoy music, movies, Everybody Loves Raymond, American Idol, and “recreational dining”.

Dave Joined First Christian Church in September of 2007 as our Administration Minister. Dave hails from the promise land of Indiana which he left in 1988 for the Mission field of Missouri. He graduated from St. Louis Christian College (SLCC) in 1992 and has been serving the St. Louis area in the full time ministry every since.

Chris has been on staff at FCC since June of 2005. He is a graduate of Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. It was at college that he met and married his wife, Amber (he married way over his head). They have been married for 9 years.Chris loves baseball and likes to watch Cardinal games, although he still roots for his American League favorite, the Royals.

Jan has served on the staff at First Christian Church since December of 2007. She has a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education from St. Louis Christian College as well as a Masters in Education from Milligan College. She has been in Children’s Ministry since 1993.She loves to teach, lead worship, and write curriculum.

Randy hails from the great state of Michigan (GO BLUE!) and is a graduate of Kentucky Christian University (Class of 2005), where he met his wife Laura, who is a Cincinnati girl (and unfortunately a Buckeye). After two years of persistence, he finally convinced Laura to give him a shot and his charm took over from there. They were married in July 2005 and have been ministering in Clearwater, FL with Randy serving as the youth minister at FCC Clearwater for 4 years and Laura serving as a campus minister with Impact Ministries International at the University of South Florida for 2 years. They were blessed in March with a beautiful baby girl (Grace Olivia) and love being parents.

Dottie has been on staff since January, 2003. She & her family moved back to Missouri after 22 years in Minnesota. Dottie and Stan were married May 5, 1973.They enjoy spending time with their children (Dave & Stacie and Jenn & Ryann) and grandchildren (Eric & Gracie). Their youngest son, Adam, has gone ahead to live with Jesus, so they miss spending time with him.
Dottie’s favorites are Mexican food, Pepsi, and chocolate. She enjoys music, reading and watching American Idol and once in a while a reality show.

Hi! I’m Heather Kriete and I have been on staff at FCC since fall of 2007. I work part time here at FCC working diligently on all the print media and website. I am married to Gary Kriete and we have 3 wonderful children, Addison, Cameron, and our newest member Walker!!
