Recovery is about life’s daily hurts, habit’s and hang-up’s which may be alcohol and/or drugs, but it may be any number of other issues. The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship together and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through The 12 Steps and The 8 Recovery Principles. This program is forward-looking, focusing on the future, emphasizes personal responsibility, and emphasizes spiritual commitment.
Overview Many things disrupt our daily lives and keep us distracted from our relationship with God and our families. This program is all about recovery and restoring balance in our lives! Addictions and compulsive behaviors come in many forms. From this point forward, the solution is to start making wise choices and depend on Christ’s power to help make changes in your life so the healing process can begin.. We cannot control all that happens to us, but we can control our responses. This program helps people face up to their own choices and what they can do about them. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place with no pressure or judgments.
Why Should You Try Celebrate Recovery? You will discover a defense against the things that hold you back and experience a fresh start from any difficulty which may be preventing you from experiencing the life God intended for you. Your goal is ultimately to become free from your addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors which will bring peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly a stronger personal relationship with God and others. At Celebrate Recovery you will find leaders who understand the courage it takes to reach out for help. Celebrate Recovery leaders have lived the insanity of being bound by addictions and destructive compulsive behaviors. They now live in long-term recovery, no longer enslaved to self-destructive habits. They desire to give back by helping others find freedom from the things that bind them. We are here to help guide and support you; not to fix you. That is not our job. We believe that job belongs to God alone. We realize you may not yet be ready to accept what God has to offer. You are welcome here just as you are. Our prayer is that over time you will discover true freedom from the struggles that bind you through Jesus Christ. You have nothing to lose and only freedom to gain. We are not meant to go it alone in this world. At Celebrate Recovery you will discover just how true this statement is. You will have fellowship, teaching, open sharing and strong support. Together we emphasize personal commitment that each one would find spiritual truth. Celebrate Recovery produces people who are experiencing changed lives in their recovery and therefore want to help others find freedom through recovery in Christ. This is the final step in recovery. Confidentiality is always required. Celebrate Recovery Small Groups WILL: Celebrate Recovery Small Groups WILL NOT: Come see that you can do everything through Him who gives you strength. Philippians 4:13
For first time participants to Celebrate Recovery we offer a Newcomers meeting. This meeting will allow you to hear what the program is all about and give you an opportunity to get your questions answered. We understand the courage it takes to walk in for the first time. We are here for you. The Newcomers meeting will provide you a safe comfortable setting to begin this life changing journey. You are invited to become an active, vital part of this recovering community. Come just as you are!
