LIFE GROUP FAQ'S

TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT LIFE GROUPS
The purpose of Life Groups is to:
Learn to be a growing, balanced Christian
Involve people in a network of support
Find where people belong in the Church Family and
Evangelize as an open door to Jesus and FCC.

Life Groups are small groups of 6-12 people who meet in homes once a week. FCC of Washington has been involved in small group ministry for 6 years. Most groups meet on Sunday nights but others meet throughout the week.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
If your group meets on Sunday night, there is a children's program at the church building from 6-8pm. Please note that if your child is 4 or under you must remain in the building, so join a life group that meets at FCC. If your group meets on a night other than Sunday then your group makes arrangements for childcare.

WHAT DO WE DO AT LIFE GROUPS?
Life Groups are a great way to build friendships, grow in faith, and serve others. You serve others by caring for each other in your group, and through a group service project to the community. At your meeting you will make friends, laugh, snack, study the Bible, snack, pray, snack, invite new people, encourage each other..did I mention there would be snacks?

IF I JOIN A LIFE GROUP, HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Joining a Life Group is a 4 month commitment. Life Groups run from September-December and January-April. Some groups continue to meet occasionally and informally through the summer. After the four months, you decide if you want to continue where you are or shuffle groups to meet new people.

September 12th

WHAT WILL WE BE STUDYING IN LIFE GROUPS?
For the 2009, groups will have 5 choices:

DO I PICK A GROUP OR AM I ASSIGNED TO A GROUP?
You can look over the groups and find one that looks like it will fit you or write "put me in a group" and we will.
